Exactly what Business Consulting Solutions can do for your Fresh ...

Starting a brand new firm is equally enjoyable and challenging. Perseverance, devotion, and effort will probably be your investment to its initial few years. To reduce the actual difficulties and then make it simpler meeting them, you can try to ask help from a consulting service for small businesses.

Having access to knowledge and experience

You almost certainly feel that access to investment capital financing, a top notch office staff or perhaps state-of-the-art equipment are generally you might want to see a fresh company thru its formative years. Despite the fact that these are very important, capital, the skill of your teams and your gear might not be good enough any time challenges commence piling up.

Take into account the individual regarded as among the best company executives ever: Steve Jobs. The guy was identified as exceptional and a trailblazer the moment he started Apple. Still, Jobs needed to suffer the loss of his company and master significant lessons in the times prior to his going back to Apple, where he made it into probably the most valuable companies in the world.

Experience and information are important when obstacles face a business, or maybe with the basic, day-to-day things necessary to successfully manage one. In the cut-throat business environment of today, you might not get the a chance to learn. A business consulting company offers you access to that knowledge and experience.

Running a company needs no less than a working knowledge of numerous disciplines. You or perhaps your close affiliates don?t have any chance to master them, or perhaps the means to hire adequate folks to cover the gaps. A business consulting company can readily perform these responsibilities for one?s benefit.

Usually, these firms have consultants operating their own firms and focus on each and every field. If you have inquiries, they most likely have the answer. When obstacles become more demanding, the range of working experience and skill in a business consulting company could mean the difference between your own company expanding or not.

Having the right resources

An alternate way to meet the many obstacles in managing and improving a company is to possess the right resources. Again, funding, people and equipment can only take you so far. If you do not have even some of the more basic administrative resources, all your venture capital, team members, and advanced equipment will mean nothing.

Getting a full suite of business consulting solutions could help. Financial specialists help you make paperwork like income statements accurately and quickly. Making the right business plan can be hard, so these packages give several templates you can readily use. Report generators help you make presentations that are both informative and professional looking.

Better still, these kinds of small business consulting services tend to be online so they really are available at any time, anywhere, provided that there?s an Internet access. This could be important when you need to recheck your business plan during inconvenient times. Having the important documents and data of your firm easy to get at may go quite a distance to making sure you meet the challenges of running one.

DNP MacBook Pro review 13inch, mid2012 how does the refreshed MBP fare with a new Ivy Bridge chipset

When the MacBook Pro with Retina display is in the game, Apple's "regular" Pros may seem a bit like also-rans. After all, why would you choose them when you could get a brilliant 15-inch 2,880 x 1,800 IPS panel and a Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor? Well, price, for one thing. While we walked away from our Retina MBP review mighty impressed, that model starts at $2,199. The latest crop of Pros, meanwhile, keep the same pricing scheme as last year's models ($1,199 and up), but step up to Intel's third-generation Ivy Bridge processors. We took the entry-level 13-incher for a spin to get a feel for how the dual-core Core i5 CPU, 4GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics 4000 stack up to the competition. Read on to see how it fared.

Johnson dominant at Indy, wins 4th Brickyard 400

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) ? Jimmie Johnson fondly recalls watching the Indianapolis 500 as a kid in California, rearranging the couch cushions so he could pretend he was sitting in a race car.

Johnson's grandfather was an A.J. Foyt fan. Johnson liked Rick Mears. And now Johnson might be mentioned in the same breath as those two drivers and other Indy greats.

Johnson stamped another exclamation point on his racing resume Sunday, a dominant drive that ended with his fourth career Brickyard 400 victory.

"I'm able to join racing legends, my heroes and people I looked up to my entire life," Johnson said. "To join them was a huge, huge honor."

With the win, Johnson joined Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jeff Gordon as the only NASCAR drivers to win four times at the historic 2.5-mile track, which has hosted stock car racing since 1994.

The victory also puts Johnson among some top names in the track's record books.

Only three drivers have won four Indianapolis 500s: Foyt, Mears and Al Unser Sr. Formula One ace Michael Schumacher won the U.S. Grand Prix five times on Indy's road course configuration.

Johnson took it all in during a unique family moment of his own after the race, taking a victory lap in a pace car with his wife, his daughter and his crew guys all piled on board.

"You can actually soak in the moment, and look around and realize that you're at the Brickyard ? and won ? was really special," Johnson said.

And while his daughter, Genevieve, enjoyed playing with a microphone in Johnson's postrace news conference, they couldn't convince her to join in as they completed the tradition of kneeling to kiss the yard of bricks at the start/finish line.

"She wasn't into it," Johnson joked.

Johnson also won the Brickyard in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

"They're that good, and they deserve it," Gordon said.

Kyle Busch finished second, followed by Greg Biffle, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Gordon. Polesitter Denny Hamlin was sixth.

It was a rough day for Matt Kenseth, who came into Sunday's race with the Sprint Cup Series points lead but was taken out of the race in a late collision with Joey Logano.

While Johnson ruled the day, Earnhardt walked away with the points lead ? 14 points ahead of Kenseth.

"We've persevered all year, and we've done good work all year," Earnhardt said. "I think it is a bit of a confidence booster, something I'm proud of because we've worked hard all year and we've got something to show for it."

But Johnson's big moment was seen by another disappointing crowd at what still is considered one of the Sprint Cup Series' most prestigious races.

After drawing huge crowds for more than a decade after the first NASCAR race at Indianapolis in 1994, attendance has been sagging in recent years. The front-stretch stands were fairly full but there were sparse crowds in the turns.

The track estimated that attendance was 125,000, although media estimates were lower.

Jeff Burton's flat tire brought out a caution with 36 laps to go, giving the leaders an opportunity to make their final pit stops.

Johnson, Brad Keselowski, Gordon and Busch all took four tires on their stops ? but Biffle only took two tires, allowing him to come out of the pits first.

The race restarted with 31 laps to go, with Biffle taking the lead and Johnson fighting off Busch to hold on to second.

Biffle's lead didn't last long, as Johnson went around him on the front stretch with 29 laps to go.

"It didn't really matter if you were in front of him or not, he was going to pass you in about four or five laps anyway," Biffle said. "His car was just really, really good."

Joey Logano then spun and collected Kenseth, leaving his car banged-up and smoldering. Kenseth was OK ? but his points lead was gone after he finished 35th.

"Everybody was just running everybody in the back, and you could see it was just a matter of time before the wreck happened," Kenseth said.

Johnson got a flawless restart when the race went back to green with 20 laps to go, then pulled away from Busch in the closing laps of the race.

Keselowski was going for a weekend sweep after winning the Nationwide Series race at Indianapolis on Saturday. And for a while, it looked like he might pull it off.

Keselowski and the No. 2 team experimented with a different pit stop strategy than the rest of the leaders, attempting to set up the possibility of stretching their fuel mileage at the end of the race.

Keselowski pitted on lap 91, while the rest of the leaders pitted under caution four laps later.

But Keselowski's car got loose after the race restarted on lap 101, and he slid back to seventh ? a significant setback, given how hard it is to pass at Indianapolis.

"I just made too many mistakes," Keselowski said. "It's hard to be mad with a top 10. I'm not mad, but no, I'm not happy. I want to win these races. I want to be a legit contender to win the big races and we were today. I just didn't close it out."

It was a tough day for Carl Edwards, whose engine began losing power only a handful of laps into the race.

In his first race with new crew chief Chad Norris, Edwards qualified second but began dropping in the field after an apparent engine malfunction. Edwards finished 29th, left Indianapolis 12th in the points and is in danger of missing NASCAR's season-ending Chase.

"We have to take chances," Edwards said. "We have to go race. We can do that, we can race like that. It will actually be a big relief in a way because there is no other choice. We just go race for wins. I wouldn't bet against us. We can do it."

Rochelle and Marvin's fairytale pop wedding

30 JULY 2012

Last Friday was not only the special day for the dazzling London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony.

Some 70 miles north of London?s Stratford district, at Oxfordshire?s grand stately home Blenheim Palace, pop princess Rochelle Wiseman of hit girlband The Saturdays married JLS star Marvin Humes in a fairytale ceremony and HELLO! was there to capture every magical moment.

Months of secret planning had gone into ensuring all the intricate details of the celebrations remained a surprise for all but the closest of the 250 family members and friends who joined the couple during the day and the further 150 glamorous guests who arrived for the fun-packed evening festivities.

Among the famous faces to attend the stylish black-tie wedding were The X Factor's Tulisa Contostavlos, singers Olly Murs, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers, DJ Reggie Yates.

Also?wishing the couple well were Girls Aloud?s Nicola Roberts, Blue star Simon Webbe, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan of boyband One Direction and rappers Chipmunk and Wretch 32.

The gorgeous bride and groom ? who got engaged on New Year?s Eve while in the Maldives, where Marvin presented Rochelle with a heart-shaped diamond ring ? had been adamant that their nuptials should reflect their personalities.

"One of the things I love most about Marvin is that he is so traditional, because so am I," Rochelle, 23, told HELLO!, when we caught up with her "backstage" at Blenheim on the morning of the wedding.

Rochelle told HELLO! that the moment Marvin popped the question, she knew there was only one place she would be heading to buy her wedding dress.

?

Marvin Humes

"It had to be Vera Wang. Marvin proposed two days into a ten-day holiday and I was itching to get back so I could go and find my dress. To me, Vera Wang's designs are the ultimate. I knew I'd find my dream dress in her collection and I did."

Speaking of her bridesmaids, who included her fellow The Saturdays band members Una Healy, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White, ?Rochelle revealed:

"I feel so close to these girls. We've been on such a high ? I'm so lucky to have them in my life."

Across the glorious courtyards of Blenheim, husband-to-be Marvin and his groomsmen were getting ready.

Like Rochelle, they revealed to HELLO!, there was a story regarding the undergarments they wore beneath their wedding attire.

"We've had monogrammed boxer shorts made with my and Rochelle's 'R&M' logo on," confided Marvin, 27.

Marvin's party consisted of 11 friends including his JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Jonathan "JB" Gill and Orits? Williams.

"All my groomsmen are very special to me and I know they?re looking out for me today and want me and Rochelle to have the best day ever," said Marvin.

Meanwhile, the beautiful bride was putting the finishing touches to her outfit, with her matron of honour Laura adjusting the full-length veil that trailed so beautifully behind her stunning designer dress.

"I feel so blessed to have Rochelle in my life. She is such a gorgeous person, inside and out, but I have never seen her look more beautiful or serene than she does today," Laura told us.

Invicta FC, Sara McMann and Women?s MMA: The Morning News Roundup ? 7.29.12

A weekend without the UFC, Strikeforce or Bellator can often mean a weekend without happiness.? Okay, not really.? But if that actually is the case with you, please, get help.? Or get a hobby or something.? Anyway, there were no offerings from the aforementioned titans of mixed martial arts; however, last night the Invicta Fighting Championships had its second installment, and in terms of high-level MMA action, it pretty much rocked.? Therein lies where this morning's news is coming from.

  • Unless you were one of the lucky few to make the trek out to Kansas City to see the event in person, you were forced to watch Invicta FC via the free stream broadcast over the organization's website.? You were also forced to deal with a stream that was virtually non-existent for the first half of the fourteen-bout card, which, according to the event promoter Shannon Knapp, was attributed to crashed servers.? But hey, it was free, and when the feed was strong, we got to see some exciting stuff, like Strikeforce veterans Amanda Nunes and Liz Carmouche kick butt and take names.? Reviews of the event can be found here, here and here.? Personally, I rated it four out of five mouthpieces.

?

  • Olympic Freestyle wrestling Silver Medalist Sara McMann came away with another win in Invicta FC's thrilling main event, bringing her unblemished record up to 6-0 with a unanimous decision win over the ultra-tough Shayna Baszler.? The bout was a close one and hotly contested right up to the final bell; in the waning seconds, Baszler rocked McMann with strikes, and McMann was moments away from doing "the Worm".? But the bell rang and it went to the judges, and that was all she wrote.? The victory puts McMann in line for a shot at the Invicta FC bantamweight title, which is vacant and waiting for someone worthy to claim it.?

?

  • With over 200,000 purported Internet viewers, the first Invicta FC event was considered a success, and last night's numbers have to at least be in that ballpark.? So where does that put the current state of female MMA?? Probably in a very good place, especially with Strikeforce champ Ronda Rousey's step up in exposure and Invicta FC already planning a third event.? Say what you will about women fighting, but there's a market for it ? and right now, that market is strong.

?

  • Yesterday was UFC president Dana White's birthday. ?I hope that in honor of the occasion you all cornered your pets and screamed at them "Do you want to be a [expletive] fighter?"? I know I did.

?

If you are planning on starting a new business, you are expected to be aware of the many tasks involved in becoming successful in such a venture. On top of product creation, management, maintenance, you also have to worry about the technical aspects involved in bringing about the required results in making your products and services marketable to your business?s target audience. You have to make use of online business ideas, and not just the old and tried business ideas; a lot of research are required to be undertaken in the midst of the changing landscape of online which will make it possible for you to come up with a new online business strategy that matches a given situation.

Juggling all of these tasks can get unwieldy. But in a business that makes use of variables related to the internet, you can use a related variable such as outsourcing.

Outsourcing is that process in which a company delegates specific services to a third party for a fee. These services include copywriting, SEO, marketing, graphic design, virtual assistant services, and many more. Outsourcing is an efficient and cheaper way to hire labor, resulting to more reserved energy to perform other important tasks required to move the online forward. Outsourcing specified tasks also makes it easier for you to oversee all the aspects of the business and in turn helps with easier management. It also opens up more possibilities as far as online business ideas are concerned. When the possibilities are open, the higher the chance you can discover or come up with a new online business strategy that works.

There are a few guidelines you have to follow in outsourcing your business:

1. Take some time to learn the aspects involved in the non-technical tasks. Most business owners are non-techies and would be more equipped to handle managerial tasks. Just because you?re outsourcing services doesn?t mean that you won?t have to oversee the goings-on of the projects that you have delegated to other people. Taking the time to learn what works and what doesn?t will allow you to set a standard for all the work that is being done. This ensures that quality work is being done, and that can be good for your business.

2. Outsource one at a time. At least do this initially. Remember, before you make a long term commitment with a third party company, trust has to be earned first. That trust is earned if the terms of the agreement between your company and the company providing the outsourcing services are met. Once the initial outsourcing task has been done well enough, then that?s the time for you to outsource the other tasks involved in your online business.

3. Be careful in providing informationWhen you outsource specific tasks, be they copywriting, SEO, or virtual assistance, it is important that you provide only the information (passwords, online business ideas, etc.) required to do the job.

You are doing outsourcing right if you follow these three guidelines. Just stay on your toes and always do a regular check on everything that?s going on about your online business. This should be easy enough since you are delegating these tasks to people you can trust. You may be able to come up with an online business strategy that will take your online business further. And all of these become possible because of outsourcing.

The Wine Establishment Blog: Happy National Scotch Day!

Wouldn't you know it, it's National Scotch Day! So I've brought together a few little tips and pointers to help you enjoy your dram:

Wine varieties, Cognac, Brandies, Spirits, all have their own specific glassware in which the aromas and characteristics are showcased. Designed by Raymond Davidson, The Glencairn Glass enhances the qualities of whiskys of all types.
The Glencairn Glass was awarded in 2006
'The Queen's Award for Innovation'.

So we all know about food and wine pairing, but have you tried pairing whisky to your favorite foods? Richard Paterson, Whyte and Mackay Glasgow?s Master Blender (whose nose just happens to be insured by Lloyd?s of London for $2.6 million), has a few suggestions for you?.

?

Whisky and food pairings: main courses

I've already mentioned?whitebait, prawns and lobsters (and how Springbank?is good for them) but there's more to main courses than just seafood.
When it comes to?pork or gammon then I would choose Highland Park, as not only is it a firm favourite of mine, the slightly spicy kick of the dram works wonderfully with the tang of the meat.
When it comes to the likes of beef, lamb or venison, I'm quite the fan of Old Pultney? - Scotland?s northernmost mainland distillery where the North Sea influences its flavour profile giving it hints of sea spray which work in harmony with its complex array of tastes including chunky marmalade, sultanas and toffee.
Jura (again, the hint of sea salt in the drink gives the meat a nice edge) or the 15 year old Dalmore?old also works well with these meats as its maturation in three different sherry casks give it rich flavours of marmalade, almonds and dried fruits which enhance the essences in these richer meats.
(Richard Paterson, courtesy of http://www.whyteandmackay.com/blog/2012-05-22-whisky-and-food-pairings-main-courses.aspx )

While you?re at it why not swing by and pick up the Glencairn glass? Or the glass Glencairn specifically designed for Canadian whiskies, The GlencairnCanadian glass.? We?ve also introduced the Vinturi Spirits Aerator to our barware collection?.and of course we always have whisky stones?.add a chill on a hot summer night to that precious golden liquid without watering it down.

Analysis: Buffett's ResCap bid gives him bond upside too

(Reuters) - Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway is bidding on a bankrupt mortgage lender that it may not want, in what some investors and observers view as an effort to make more money on Berkshire's stake in the company's bonds.

Berkshire has made two bids for Residential Capital, the bankrupt unit of Ally Financial that makes loans and collects payments on them. Both bids were topped by Nationstar Mortgage Holdings , which also makes and services loans. An auction for the unit is due to start this fall.

ResCap's parent, Ally Financial, was previously known as General Motors Acceptance Corp and was once the auto lending arm of what is now General Motors Co. .

ResCap was a major subprime lender that became an albatross for GMAC when losses ballooned during the financial crisis. Ally wants to shed ResCap's mortgage liabilities as it seeks to repay government bailouts.

Many believe Buffett will buy ResCap if it has to, but would rather drive the price higher for Nationstar. For one thing, Berkshire Hathaway lacks the licenses needed to make mortgage loans. For another, Buffett often shies away from acquiring financial companies outside of the insurance business.

But Berkshire Hathaway has much to gain from pushing Nationstar to bid more. Berkshire owned more than $900 million of ResCap junior secured debt as of June, representing more than 40 percent of the total outstanding for that class.

Going into the bankruptcy, when Nationstar was bidding $2.4 billion, media reports suggested the secured holders could get 93 cents on the dollar. But the more Nationstar pays, the more money Berkshire Hathaway gets.

In fact, with the higher offer from Nationstar, secured bondholders are expected to be paid back in full, according to one person involved in the restructuring. Even unsecured creditors are likely to make some recovery, the person said.

Berkshire has repeatedly declined comment on its intentions for ResCap, and Buffett's assistant did not return messages for comment on Thursday and Friday.

To outsiders, Buffett's strategy makes perfect sense.

"The worst-case scenario is he owns it and he'll just hold onto it," said Michael Yoshikami, chief executive of Destination Wealth Management, an asset manager in California that has more than $12 million in Berkshire Hathaway stock.

"The best-case scenario is he extracts a higher bid and that helps him on the debt side," Yoshikami said. "I think it's one of his brighter moves."

LICENSING HURDLE

Buffett still likes a good deal, and he invested in financial companies like Bank of America Corp and Goldman Sachs Group when there was money to be made. He is also separately bidding on a loan portfolio that ResCap is selling and is the lead bidder for that asset.

But the licensing hurdle is big. In a court filing in June, a banker advising ResCap said one of the advantages of the Nationstar offer was its support from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac , the government-controlled housing finance providers that own the majority of the loans serviced by ResCap, and that it holds the state licenses needed to run the new assets.

Berkshire executive Ted Weschler, in a June court hearing, conceded the company did not have the housing agency support or state licenses lined up, but said, "We'll do our absolute best to get those approvals."

Many of the court filings have been made by Weschler, an investment manager who joined Berkshire this year to help Buffett run its portfolio.

Both Nationstar and ResCap declined to comment.

ResCap is now selling the loan portfolio and the servicing business as separate entities, though the sale processes are running at the same time.

Bids for both the loans and the servicing platform are due on October 19, and an auction is set for October 23. A bankruptcy court hearing at which the judge would then rule on the sales is set for November 5.

Berkshire is the designated initial bidder for the loan unit with an offer of $1.44 billion. The investment fund Lone Star said in June it was also interested in that unit.

ResCap filed for bankruptcy in May, with more than $5 billion of liabilities and $15 billion of assets.

The case is In re: Residential Capital, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York, No. 12-12020.

Only with the imperative skills of non-defensive strength and confidence and a knowledge of the value and impact of the HR function will you be able to rightfully claim ?your seat at the table and establish your influential voice in your organization! Three of the critical steps to success will be discussed in this session:

Understand the business. Engage with key stakeholders and initiate meetings in order to understand what they do and the challenges they face.

  1. Learn to think and talk like Management. Don?t hide behind HR jargon that business leaders don?t fully appreciate. Learn the language of the business and translate HR value into business terms.
  2. Don?t be the HR expert. Do not just tell your stakeholders what to do because you are the HR expert. Take a consultative and collaborative approach and engage your business leaders in a problem solving discussion.

The skills covered in this session will enable you to break away from the traditional cost center, administrative or compliance view of HR.
