Kenyan Olympics star Samuel Wanjiru died on Monday after falling from the top floor of his home.
The 24-year-old marathon champion, who took gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, fell from the balcony at his home in Nyahururu, Kenya. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials are investigating whether the runner jumped to his death. Local reports suggest Wanjiru's death came after an argument with his wife, Triza Njeri.
Wanjiru completed the 2008 marathon in an Olympic record time of two hours, six minutes and 32 seconds.
