Controversial Obama Nomination Falls To Filibuster

[unable to retrieve full-text content]President Obama nominated law professor Goodwin Liu to the 9th circuit federal apeals court based in San Francisco, and would have been the only Asian-American currently serving on that circuit. But Senate conservatives said Liu would have used the bench to promote a liberal agenda.
