What is Mixed Martial Arts?

In the mid to late 1990's, the world outside of Martial Arts had never heard the term, "Mixed Martial Arts", or MMA. As a matter of fact, those inside the martial arts community like myself, had never head it used before either. I researched for clues to see if anyone had claimed to be the first to use the term. I found an article on the Underground Forum that states a reporter used it while commenting on Battlecade, a No-Holds-Barred (as we used to call it) tournament. But whatever, let me move on to explain to you what Mixed Martial Arts is NOW!
